React web application that allows teachers to easily enter grades and track class and individual student progress.
My focus was to learn a framework, and produce something that would be useful. The focus was simple and fast grade input. Second highest priority was to make data easy to consume for trends to be visible and understandable.
Tools: React, Redux, Chart.js, FireBase DB, Firebase Hosting
Inspired by "You Don't Know JS", I am working on an ambitious meal planning / recipe book / grocery shopping mobile web application with as little frameworks and 3rd party code as possible. Hosting it from my very own living room using nginx.
So far, the weekly meal planner, the recipe parser for my favorite food websites, and a beta version of the grocery list aggregator have been implemented. The goal is to make it easy to save my favorite recipes in one place and make it easy to go shopping for the week. It doesn't feel good when you forget to get the dill needed for the Tzatziki sauce.
No React, No Redux, No Express, just NodeJS*.
